Yamaha announced the pricing for the FZ-10!

Bad news: its 15.5 k. Add another 500 for frame sliders and a quick shifter and its a 16k bike before freight and taxes.

Ouch. Oh well, just means ill be on the sv for just a little while longer

Because s1000r still needs tech package for cruise, tcs, and trip meters, which is ANOTHER 2k on top

Also s1000r is 1000$ more anyways (canada pricing)

ALSO you guys get the s1000r. You DONT get the fz-10. Little bit of : nana boohoo, you cant have this. (yes im childish)

So does this. Its a naked r1. At 16k it has every single feature the BMW has (minus electronic suspension i think) and its 4k less.

Not to mention after market parts will not have the BMW tax and I can service it in my garage, and not have to drag it to BMW and get reamed by the techs there.

I honestly totally forgot about that.

But it has power modes, tcs, abs wheelie control, the lot. The price doesnt surprise me much, but its still painful.

A dealer near me is asking $10,999 for the 2015 Streetfighter 848. Seems like they are clearing it out. From what i’ve heard they are good bikes if you want the aggression of a supersport but a slightly better riding position. The 1098 version is supposed to be a handful but an absolute hoon machine.
